Hitler's Amphitheater

As a work project Hitler had 84 of these Amphitheaters built. He would bring the people here to talk to them about the need to support him and convert them to his way of thinking. This particular theater sits just below the top of Heiligenberg Mountain above Heidelberg. It seats 5,000 and has standing room for 3,000. We think the seats are built from the stones of the St, Michael's Basilica on the top of the Mountain. The picture simply does not do justice to the majestic size of the Amphitheater. This is looking down into from above.
