Typical Neighborhood Intersection

This is what a an intersection looks like. The dashed line on the road is in lieu of a stopsign. If you are on a street with a yellow diamond signpost you have the right of way and the person having this dashed line in their lane means they are to stop until it is clear. If you are on a road without a yellow diamond signpost you must yield to the person or your right. Because of the hedges right up to the intersection you need to slow down so you can stop if you see someone coming from your right. The normal neighborhood speed limit is 30 kilometers or 18 mph. This particular street has two cameras on it to take a picture if you exceed the posted speed limit by more than 5 mph.
