This castle fortress is on a hillside overlooking the Neckar River in Neckar Steinnach. It was build in the year 1120. One of the most famous occupants was Billiger the writer of the Niebelung Songs, which are very famous in Germany. We climbed to the the top of the tower and had great views. This is about 20 Kilometers east of Heidelberg.
