Here you see a group dressed up as trees with faces running around yelling "HALLOOO" to everyone on the street. Heidelberg's eqivalent of Carnival in New Orleans. Very laid back and very safe Saw a few inebriated, but most were just enjoying the parade. It took about 2 hours to see the entire parade.
